Who is Acumen

The Acumen Foundation was created and is staffed by individuals that are passionate about technology and about creating great software that powers the technology that touches everyone’s lives every day. At the end of each day every Acumen team member is encouraged to ask the question “what have I done today to improve somebody’s life?”. As a not-for-profit corporation helping our clients and answering that question can be our one and only focus.

We answer that question in hundreds of ways: When we create a simple script to eliminate the drudgery and error prone manual configuration of server. When we create a new web site that allows users to more easily find information and eliminate calls to overworked call centers. When we create custom components to tie different systems together. When we create a minor extension to an existing application to let it meet the customer’s needs for another year. When we provide expert staff to augment a client’s existing pool of talent.
